Directions to Garland Scout Ranch

From Shreveport take I-49 South to the Stonewall exit. Go right and follow the two-lane road for approximately 4 miles to Hwy. 171. At Hwy. 171 go left for approximately 5 miles to the entrance of the camp on the right. Take the dirt road into camp and check in at the Ranger's House on the left. Enjoy your stay!

If you plan to camp at GSR, you may wish to take the time to review the Garland Rules for Camp Activities.  If you wish to camp or use the facilities at Garland Scout Ranch, you need to fill out a Garland Camp Use Permit and turn it into the council office at least 2 weeks before the event.  To obtain our permit please click on the link above, or call the council office at 318-868-2774. Keep a copy of the completed (signed) form and bring it to camp with you.  It is also a good idea to inform the Ranger about the event at 318-933-8590.
